Shawnee Mountain Ski Area, in Pennsylvania has a deal on season passes.
It's simple: When two or more skiers or riders get together to buy passes as a group, each Buddy Season Pass costs $299. This deal works for friends, relatives, or family members. The Buddy Season Passes are valid any time, day or night, through the 2010-11 season. The $299 price expires Nov. 20.
Caveat: When buying online, each pass must have a different name.
Shawnee Mountain also offers Individual Season Passes, for those skiers and riders who would rather pay an extra $100 than find a friend so they can take advantage of the Buddy Pass deal. Individual Season Passes cost $399, and are valid any time during the 2010-11 season.
Shawnee has a Night Only Season Pass valid any night of the 2010-11 season, for $199.
Shawnee Mountain Ski Area has vertical drop of 700, 22 slopes and trails, two terrain parks and a snowtubing park, 700 foot vertical served by a quad, a triple, four doubles, three carpets, a snow tubing carpet, and one tubing tow. The longest trail is just under a mile. Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, Shawnee offers day and night skiing and full snowmaking coverage.
