Schweitzer Mountain Resort redesigned their discounted lift ticket offerings for this winter allowing a way for locals and vacationers to save a bit. The new discounted ticket packs are on sale through October.
The resort has offered discounted lift tickets in the past through their Escape Card program and at Costco. Neither of those programs will be available this year; however, the resort introduced a new Ski3 package of discounted tickets available to anyone.
The Ski3 package, which costs $156 plus tax, is available through Oct. 31. The package includes three adult lift tickets that are fully transferable and valid for the entire winter season with no blackout dates. They can be used by the purchaser or split to be used by three different individuals. Ski3 tickets come at a 20 percent discount off the ticket window price of $65. The discount makes each ticket cost $52 instead.
Ski3 packages are available online with the product immediately in hand. Purchase the Ski3 tickets with a credit card and then print the vouchers from your home computer.
Schweitzer is also launching a new mobile version of their Web site. Visitors can check snow conditions, book lodging, or buy lift tickets on the way to the resort. The resort plans to give some discounts for those purchasing lift tickets online, such as the Sunday afternoon lift ticket that will be available for $25 online while it costs $35 at the ticket window.
