Cali Braces for New Storm

The National Weather Service and Jake, a local Tahoe powderhound, says the snow - perhaps as much as two more feet of it - will be smacking into the Sierra, Cascades, Wasatch and Teton ranges in the next day or so. Besides record crowds to favorite areas, local skiers have carped about record high temperatures - almost short sleeved shirt weather in the mountains despite last weeks New Years Miracle. Everyone waiting to see what happens but Jake swears he'll turn in his skis if he's wrong on this one. We'll see.
