Bad Gastein Is Alive With The Sound Of Jazz March 12-21

The Snow Jazz Gastein brings soulful rhythms to Bad Gastein March 12-21. This year's festival is themed ‘I Love Paris'. During this 10-day festival, a series of jazz concerts take place in ski huts, hotels, and clubs.

This year, Bad Gastein will host performances by rising star Karen Francis, Les Lapins Superstar, Jean-Francois Baez Trio, Louise Sclavis & Vincent Courtois, Dotschy Reinhardt Ensemble, and many more.

The Bad Gastein Tourist Office is promoting the Snow Jazz Weekend package. Priced from €187, it features a two-night stay including meals, a two-day lift pass, and one admission to a thermal spring and concerts on Friday and Saturday. A range of half-board hotels are available in this offer.

Bad Gastein recently has invested €45 million in its ski area, to include a new cabin lift up to the Stubnerkogel, a new blue run, additional snowmaking equipment, an expansion of the snowpark, magic carpets for children, and a new suspension bridge for hikers.

Ski Amadé's five ski regions encompass 270 lifts, 860 kilometres of slopes - all on one ticket. The five regions are the Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig, and Grossarltal. The region begins just one hour from the ‘Mozart City' of Salzburg.
