Hit The Pistes For Less In Chatel

Châtel, in the Portes du Soleil ski area, is offering end-of-season deals enabling skiers to hit the pistes for less.

The Super Promo deal gives guests a 40-percent discount on six, seven, and eight-day ski passes if they book accommodation through the resort's reservation Web site. This offer is valid the week of March 20-27.

The Winter Mini Break Getaways are short stays of three nights and start at €135 for accommodation and a three-day lift pass for Chatel. If you want to spend your days exploring 12 different ski resorts, a mini break with a three-day Portes du Soleil pass can be purchased for €155 per person. These stays are available starting March 27 and bookings will be taken two weeks before the arrival date.

Children under 12 ski for free at Les Portes du Soleil with the Easter holidays deal starting April 3. Purchase one adult Portes du Soleil pass and clients will receive a free child's pass when the ski passes are booked at the same time as the accommodation. This offer is valid on passes for three or more days.

This French resort is right on the Swiss border, between the Lac Leman and Mont Blanc, and is easily accessible from the Geneva airport or the Thonon les Bains rail station.
