A Better Butternut Awaits Riders

The Ski Butternut mountain team may seem a little giddy with power this season. Why not? They promise to unleash 225 percent more snow this season. It comes from a new pump house and miles and miles of new snowmaking pipe. Technically, their ability to pump snow is now at 3,600 gallons of water per minute, compared to less than 1,600 gallons per minute in years past. Bottom line, it means more corduroy, faster. Who can argue with that?
