Save On Ski And Stay Packages In Ordino, Andorra

The two-star Hotel Gaspa in Central Ordino, Andorra, has released a selection of five-day ski breaks which offer accommodation and lift passes at a discounted rate.

The package, which runs from Sunday night, Feb. 21 or Feb. 28, costs €210, and includes bed and breakfast accommodation. For an additional €44 the hotel also offers admission to the principality's famous Caldea spa centre in the capital of La Vella. 

A weekend-only package (two nights, two days skiing) is also available at the Hotel Gaspa for €125.5, from Feb. 19 or 26.

Both packages are based on the price of a double room, and full payment is taken at the time of booking.

The VallNord ski area, which is made up of the merged ski areas Par-Arinsal and Ordino-Arcalis, contains some 90 kilometres (57 miles) of piste all on one lift ticket. The terrain is divided in to 66 runs served by 41 lifts.

A bus ride connects Ordino with the largest sector of the ski area, the lift-linked Pal and Arinsal sectors a few kilometres away.

The area has seen substantial investment in recent years with modern lifts and extensive snow making. The local Ordino/Arcalis slopes have a reputation for offering some of the best skiing in Andorra with some of the deepest snow.
