Calabogie Peaks Offers Winter Playground, Peaks Playcation Deals

Calabogie Peaks, known as The Mountain in Ottawa and eastern Ontario, is offering a couple of attractive lodging packages this winter.

The Peaks' Winter Playground Package starts from CA $84 (US $81.13) per person, based on double occupancy. It is for the person that wants to enjoy a winter resort, but nor necessarily interested in skiing or snowboarding.  It includes two nights' lodging, a continental breakfast, skate rentals and access to the outdoor skating rink, snowshoe rental, access to the indoor salt water pool, the outdoor tub and on-site fitness facility.  It also gives you access to evening movie sessions in the Theater, and 10-percent off Les Saisons Spa services.   

The Peaks Playcation Package for those who want to ski or snowboard, starts from CA $70 (US $67.61) per person, per night, based on double occupancy.  It includes one night accommodation, continental breakfast, two complimentary lift tickets, and free snowshoe rentals.  You also have access to the salt water pool, outdoor heated hot tub, and skating rink.  

Calabogie, with a 760-foot vertical drop, offers Ottawa skiers and riders a nice choice close to home. It's located less than an hour from Ontario's capital city, and the area's 22 runs and two terrain parks has terrain suitable for all levels.
