Ski Solutions Slashes Prices To Espace Killy

Sister companies, Ski Solutions and Ifyouski.com, are offering a choice of discounted flights and accommodation packages to the Espace Killy resorts of Tignes and Val d'Isere.

Stay in Val d' Isere at the three-star Chalethotel Cygnaski for a week for £495, saving £300 on the former price of £795. The package is for departures from London Gatwick leaving Sunday, Jan. 17 and includes flights, transfers, ski guiding, and chalet-board accommodation (half-board plus wine for six nights a week, and afternoon tea).

Alternatively, stay in the ski-in/ski-out four-star Hotel Aigle in Tignes and save £400 on the former price of £885. It again includes flights from Gatwick, this time departing Saturday, Jan. 16, transfers, and chalet-board accommodation.

Many regard L'Espace Killy as one of the best ski areas in Europe. The 300 kilometres of trails include seemingly endless snowy motorways for intermediates to cruise around on, whilst experts will find more to entertain here than almost anywhere else on the continent, both on and off the slopes.

The maximum skiable vertical of 1900 metres is one of the steepest in the world and the lowest lift height of 1550 metres is high enough to ensure top-to-bottom skiing for a bigger chunk of the winter season than at other centres claiming similar or larger verticals but to much lower bases. The 300 snow cannons are a help too.
