Lake Louise Spring Passes on Sale

Lake Louise in Alberta is one place to ski well into spring. In fact, the ski area operates daily until May 6, 2012. For Western Canadian skiers and snowboarders looking for deals, Lake Louise not only has a spring pass on sale, but the resort is offering a bonus incentive for early purchases.

The Lake Louise spring pass is valid for skiing or snowboarding from March 1 through May 6. It pays for itself in five visits, so you can even use it for a weeklong vacation. The Spring Pass is available only for residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Spring passes for adults cost $399. Youth, senior, student, and midweek spring passes cost $299. Spring passes for children cost $124.

For an added incentive, Lake Louise is offering a bonus credit to the passes. For those who purchase spring passes by March 12, a $40 credit will be preloaded on the pass. The credit can be used to purchase anything at the resort. Those who purchase spring passes after March 12 will get a $25 credit.

Family spring passes cost $799, and the incentive for family passes is different. Family passes purchased before March 12 get a shared credit of $80. After March 12, the credit drops to $50. 

Plenty of perks accompany the spring passes, too. Passholders can get discounts on lift tickets at other neighboring ski resorts, cat skiing, heli-skiing, lodging, dining, and retail items.
