Marquette Mountain is Offering Some Great Family Rates

Marquette Mountain is offering some really affordable rates for a family ski vacation this winter.

How about $249 for a family of four to ski for a week? That’s the rate for lift tickets and rental equipment for a family of four to ski for seven consecutive days this winter. Room rates in town start from $55. Go here for more information on lodging choices.

The ski area is within city limits, which means it’s nearby to numerous lodging establishments and restaurants, an attraction for families that want to minimize travel. Couple that with the attractive family lift and rental packages the ski area is running, and you have the equation for an affordable family ski vacation.

Daily family ski packages – four people – start from $119. It does not include rental. An adult daily full day lift ticket is $40, and a child (7-17) is $35. Midweek Marquette Mountain offers a $39 lift and rental package Monday through Thursday. Sunday, March 4, is Carload Day. It’s just $50 per vehicle and $150 per bus for everyone to receive an all-day lift ticket. Grab the whole family and make a day of it on the slopes.

With a big 600-foot vertical drop, 25 runs, four terrain parks and a halfpipe, three chairlifts and a surface tow, it offers some of the best skiing and riding found around the Great Lakes. On average they receive about 220-inches of snow per winter. From the top of the Mountain you can see the city and Lake Superior.
