Crested Butte-American Airlines Extend Fly-Ski-Stay Deal

Normally, it would cost a fly-in guest at Crested Butte Mountain Resort more than $599 just to get up to the mountain in the southern Rockies and book a room for one night.

But once again, Crested Butte is putting that price point on a package that includes roundtrip airfare into Gunnison/Crested Butte Regional Airport, four nights at the Grand Lodge and three day tickets for skiing or snowboarding. Upgrade to the Elevation Hotel & Spa at slopeside, and the price rises to $699 per person.

In the past, this deal has only been available in January, as a post-Christmas incentive. However, the resort has decided to extend the package all the way to the end of the season on April 2. Typically, a roundtrip ticket from Dallas to Gunnison costs more than $200, as does one night at the least expensive rate at the Grand Lodge, which is a short walk from the base of the lifts.

Reservations must be made before Jan. 31 to make the savings happen, but travel can occur before that. Guests must fly on American Airlines, and their party must include at least two people. Blackout dates and availability may affect scheduling.
