Whistler Blackcomb has rolled back prices on EDGE Cards to early bird rates. Skiers and riders looking for a break on ticket prices can buy EDGE Cards to get on the slopes for less and get discounts in local stores.
The EDGE Card is Whistler’s deal for Canadian and Washington State residents. A government-issued photo identification and proof of residency is required to pick up the card.
Three-day and five-day EDGE Cards are now on sale again at early bird rates. The sale runs from Jan. 5 through Feb. 17. Purchasers of the card can ski for $68 a day. A regular lift ticket costs $96.

The card allows for discounted skiing for a pre-determined number of days for this season. It is valid through mid-May and comes with no blackout dates. Any days not used this winter can be used this summer for glacier skiing, sightseeing, or mountain biking.
You are only allowed to purchase one card per year. But once the days for the card are used up, you can continue to purchase lift tickets at a discount. Adults can add days for $79 through April 22 and $53 until May 21. Special senior, youth, and child tickets are available, too. EDGE Cards can be linked to a credit card to grant direct-to-lift access with no stop at the ticket window for these extra days.
The cards can also be reloaded with three or five days. But all reloads must be finished by Jan. 23.
EDGE Cardholders can get other discounts, too, with the card. The card grants a 20 percent discount on rentals and retail items at select stores in the village. Cardholders can also get 25 percent off Coca-Cola Tube Park tickets and $35 off any group Snow School lesson.
