College Students Can Ride Squaw And Alpine For $59

College students can put down the books, and go ride Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows for cheap. The two resorts are offering discount tickets for college students on certain dates in January, March and April. 

Students must register on their website, then print out the coupon, and bring it, along with a current college or university student ID card to the Tickets/Passes Snowsports Office at Squaw Valley or the Special Ticket Office at Alpine Meadows for $59 lift tickets.

Thanks to the recent merger, the tickets are valid at both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. There’s a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes for easy access between the two resorts. 

The college student discount tickets can be used any of the following dates, which all lie between Sunday and Friday:

• January 1-6
• January 8-13
• March 11-16
• March 18-23
• March 25-30
• April 1-6
• April 8-13

Some rules and restrictions apply. Only one coupon can be used per person per day, and the offer isn't valid with any other discounts, offers or programs. Students must be able to present a valid and current ID from a recognized college or university.
