Mt. Washington Extends Night Skiing

Nights just got more active at British Columbia’s Mt. Washington Alpine Resort. The resort extended its night activities by adding one more night per week to ski under the stars.
 
Mt. Washington just added Sundays to their night skiing schedule. The lifts will now turn for night skiing and riding 3:30 to 10 p.m, Thursdays through Sundays and holidays. Night skiing runs through March 2012. Night lifts include the Whiskey Jack Chair and Easy Acres carpets.
 
Lift tickets for the full night skiing session can be purchased online or in person at the resort. Tickets for adults cost $29 while tickets for youth and seniors cost $23. Kids' tickets cost $15. Lift tickets for late night skiing from 7 until 10 p.m. are discounted by $5-8.
 
Snowtubing under the lights is also open now until 10 p.m on weekends and holidays. The Ozone Tubing Park opens 1-9 p.m., Mondays through Wednesdays and extends to 10 p.m on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the tubing hill operates 11 a.m to 10 p.m.
 
Night skiing is also available on the Nordic trails on Friday and Saturday evenings. The trails are open 3-8 p.m for night skiing. Trail passes for night skiing cost $5-9.50, depending on age. Rentals are available, too.
 
Night snowshoeing is also popular at Mt. Washington. Trail passes, which include rentals, cost $5.50-10.75, depending on age.
