Arapahoe Basin is legendary for its steep skiing, colorful 66-year history and long season. That’s why it is called, “The Legend.”
Back by popular demand this season is the Legend’s 4 Pass for $148. That gets you four days to ski or ride A-Basin anytime you want, without any blackout dates.
Leigh Hierholzer with the mountain said it was very popular last year when it was first offered, “I think it fills a void for those in the Front Range or even Summit County who want to try a variety of ski areas and do not want to commit to a season pass.”
She added that a lot of destination visitors bought it when they were in town over Thanksgiving. “It is on sale early in the season, is easy to buy online and can be used any day. We have such a long season, that they can spread out the days from October to June.”
The pass works out to $37 a day. Additional days can be loaded onto the pass for a discounted fee after the first four days are used. It’s also non-transferable which means you can’t share it with your friends.
The pass is on-sale right now and only available through Dec. 5. Buy it online or head to the mountain.
“You can't beat that deal and at that price," Hierholzer said. "It's a very competitive option for those who don't ski much or for those that like a variety of areas.”
A-Basin’s legendary Moonlight Dinners can now be booked for this season. The evenings are up on the mountain, at the Black Mountain Lodge, with live music and exquisite cuisine with food prepared by Chef Rybak. The dinners start in December and continue monthly through May.
The first one is "A Night in the Swiss Alps" on Dec. 10 followed by "New Year’s Eve in the Mountains" on Dec. 31. Nights in France, Italy, Spain and Asia follow monthly through May.
