Sunday River plans to reopen its T2 and Upper Sunday Punch trails and Locke Mountain Triple chairlift Thursday, Nov.10, and will remain open seven days a week thereafter. In addition, to celebrate Veterans Day on Nov. 11 the resort will offer a FREE adult lift ticket, valid that day, to all military personnel and their dependents, active and retired, with proper ID.
"Sunday River is honored to offer this free lift ticket as a token of appreciation to our nation's service men and women,” General Manager Dana Bullen said. Military personnel are defined for this program as active and retired members of the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard.
Forms of accepted identification include a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a photograph in uniform, arrival to lift ticket window wearing an authentic uniform, a Veterans Organization Card (American Legion and VFW), or a DD Form 214.
For non-military personnel, early season rates are just $29, Thursday through Sunday.
Guests can save even more by purchasing a Frequent Skier Card for $97, which knocks $25 off midweek lift tickets and $15 off weekends and holidays all season long. That means this Thursday and Friday you pay just $4 each day, or $14 on the weekend. How's that for an early season deal?
