The Mars Hill, N.C., ski area also has multi-day lift tickets in an array of configurations. Just pick and choose what fits your family's style.

For adults: three weekday tickets cost $93; two weekdays and one weekend/holiday cost $109; three weekend/holiday tickets cost $141; one weekend night and two weekend days cost $130.

For students (9-18 and college): three weekday tickets cost $78; two weekdays and one weekend/holiday cost $92; three weekend/holiday tickets cost $120; one weekend night and two weekend days cost $110.

For children (5-8): three weekday tickets cost $54; two weekdays and one weekend/holiday cost $64; three weekend/holiday tickets cost $84; one weekend night and two weekend days cost $80.
