We thought that the 'boarder culture' would overrun the ski terrain. But the skiers and boarders have assimilated quite well. At Jack Frost as well as Big Boulder, we have enjoyed the the 'terrain park' elements. The built up jumps are accessible for most skiers, and the grooming in these areas is exceptional. Bottom line, the skiing and boarding conditions are the best. Tree skiing at Jack Frost is without equal and the Vermont style terrain at Big Boulder makes this compact ski area a lot more fun. It is also nice to see Mt. Snow in the national spotlight, congratulations.
I love the thrill of park skiing but i don't like the crowd that is coming with it. skiing is a middle-class sport, peak resorts should stop all the snow-sc*mbags that come out dressed like gangsters thinking they own the place, leave that to skateboarders.
