It's sad but i think that the next 10 years will see the end of skiing in Britain. Enjoy it while you still can.

I tried the opening of the season at Aviemore and then skipped around to Glenshee. It was good fun as there were not many there. We had just come from Interlaken...That's the one in Switzerland. I bought my Ski outfit and Skis from the OP shop in Aviemore 4Scottish Pounds and 5 Scottish pounds respectively. Hey they even work in Australia. Ever taken a pair of skis travelling to Hong Kong and Singapore? A great conversation piece. NO! I think the slopes in Scotland will endure even if they have lousy seasons. I get to go skiing down here (Thredbo) in September again. For me a 2500km round trip from South Australia. I WILL be back!
