Although article recommends packs be "slim enough to wear while riding a chairlift", I suggest you look for a pack that is easy off/easy on (or easy spin-around-to-front) because most ski areas request you remove your pack when loading chair lifts (or at least sling it to one shoulder). Personally, I use (and love) the REI Fall Line Ski Pack.
A useful tip if you ski with a camelback...sip often, and after you do, blow air back into the tube to clear it out. that will help prevent freeze-ups.
