    The Wycombe Summit site has yet to begin any work :-( Allegedly it was supposed to start Sept 08 to be finished by Dec 09 but I doubt its gonna happen any time soon.
    I live about 1/2 a mile away so it would be fantastic to have one 'on my doorstep'.

    The plan with Wycombe is allegedly to retain the outdoor slope & cover it in real 'technical' snow in the winter.
    Here's to hoping they get it done soon eh!

    I would like to set up one of these in Nebraska. I wonder how much they cost.

    Good article. I'm all for the old school dry slope rather than the articial snow ones - I'm no eco warrier, but any idiot can see how much energy must be wasted to create snow conditions indoors. Also, if you learn on a dry slope, it's such a nice surprise to then get to snow and realise how much easier it is! Learn the hard way, get bruised up then it'll be a dream on the snow....
