Join Vail Resorts in a family friendly celebration to wish local athlete Lindsey Vonn good luck in her quest for 5 gold medals at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.

Lindsey and her husband Thomas will be at the event which begins at 4:30 p.m. in the plaza of the Arrabelle at Vail Square. The send-off will feature guest dignitaries and former Olympic skiers, along with live entertainment and childrenâ€s activities.

4:30pm â€" craft station opens: kids can decorate rally signs for Lindsey
5:00pm â€" live music begins (Chadzilla & the Asteroids)
6:00pm â€" Vail welcomes Lindsey
7:00pm â€" live music resumes

Concessions will be available with all proceeds going to the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail Youth programs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase or renew their 2009/10 Epic Pass at the LionsHead Ticket Office that night.
