We are having the most beautiful spring ever in Tahoe!! A storm came through the past couple days that the weather channel told us was going to bring rain, but there was no rain, only gorgeous snow!! My drive to work yesterday morning was simply magical. I think it is so sad that so many resorts had to close for lack of interest when they had plenty of snow!! I guess our bay area people forget about riding once they start getting picnic days on the beach. Lame But anyway, Sugar's got about 6 inches of fresh! Only $33 to ride there if you have a pass to somewhere else, which is crazy cheap. This is the last weekend, though. And then there's Squaw...this storm brought them a few inches, and they're so set for the rest of the spring season. I've ridden there a couple times over the past month and it's been amazing. We contemplated heading to visit The Sug this morning, but we're feeling lazy. Hoping for a little breeze to pick up so we can go snowkiting on the fresh powder on Mt. Rose meadow, but if that doesn't happen then we'll get in a few turns at Mt. Rose. It's Bluebird. =)
