A part of me hates to be reporting this- for selfish reasons- but get the first plane out here. Snowbird just received a foot of new snow between 5a.m. and 10 a.m. and the storms are stacked up 6 deep. It's coming in hard and fast and it's going to be BIG!!!
I'm off to Little Cottonwood Canyon. It's a debate between the Bird and Alta. The Canyon is open but restricted to 4x4s or chains. The real issue is the visibility. The tram will keep my dry but the trees at Alta will keep me from vertigo. Hmmmmm.

    I didn't make either Alta or the bird. They closed the canyon for avalanche control. I did, however, backtrack back to Solitude. Read my latest blog for the detes!
