So, half way into this period we call winter. It seems like Dr. Doom must have shifted the planet on its axis. There have been more Spring skiing days in January than your best dream for March or April. Finally, end of the first week of February and the groundhogs in Oregon may not see their shadow for the rest of the month. Keep our fingers crossed. Snow is falling in the Cascades, coverage is still good. But a nice big DUMP would be pretty darned nice, huh?
If it does dump, I am talking more than a foot, ask for me in Guest Services at Willamette Pass and I will show you around. If you have a propensity for running into trees wear a helmet. I don't, but then I know all the trees around this place.

Get outta town, get up and SKI!

It has been a really weird season so far here in the Midwest.
We have had days of tons of snow, then 60 degree weather, and then tons of rain, and then snow.

Weirdest thing ever, but hopefully this season will last for awhile longer.
Maybe Al Gore was right, haha!!

I think we all share a longing for a bid dump of snow this season. Here in Europe, we've gone weeks with almost no snow to speak of. Looks like it may be making a turn for the better though. Hope springs eternal!
