last night was my 15th time at sno mtn for the season, and it was one of the most action packed of them all. nearly every trail was open, the only ones that were closed were closed for snowmaking at night. i did my first run in the glades.. at some points i was easily 50-65 yds out. there was plenty of powder to go around and i was blazing my own trails all night. only one park was open (one closed for snowmaking). the mainline park was terribly ungroomed and lacking features, so i spent the majority of the night on north face and in the glades.

food was great as usual and lifts were running smoothly aside from several injuries on nothface. if you know where to ski, you can easily avoid massive crowds for the rest of this weekend.

with the powder STILL falling outside, and the guns still blazing today, today and tomorrow should make a phenominal MLK weekend.

i'll be at elk tomorrow hopefully with a camera! expect a great blog with plenty of pictures.

remember- LOCK YOUR SKIS AND POLES UP!!

after reading your review, towards your comment of the lift being in disrepair. the pheobe snow lift stopped for several 5 minutes intervals due to people getting hurt and them loading/unloading the chair lift.

hello chorner, yes it appears that we were there on the same night. Sno mountain's snow conditions never cease to impress and the grooming is always perfect. there were several icy patches and the guns (as i said) were on full blast up on the top of the mountain.

as to your comment about the lodge, i am not sure why there are so many arcade machines with blinking lights , bells, and whistles.. it takes away from the whole "relaxation" feeling that a lodge is supposed to employ.
