a great day at elk mountain

sure, i have bashed elk mountain on many occasions in the past. my day today at elk far surpassed what i thought was possible in this mountain.
the slopes were in amazing condition, perfect for me to get an edge and bomb them.
stompin grounds surprised me with all it's features, although it was closed at 4pm, i then headed to little step, the NEW terrain park.
although this park was small it had a 4x4 box which was great for helping me style my tricks. it had small rails and jibs which were a lot of fun.
the lifts were running great today and seneca, and wissahocin on the west side of the mountain were superb.

eagle rock is a joke. if possible, i will update my downhill rating of elk mountain. i would write a terrible review for eagle rock, however i like to stay credible. elk was incredible if i finish studying for midterms i'll go there next monday and probably write another blog. thanks for your comment.- Was this helpful?

Are you going to update your rating of Elk? I am excited to get up there soon - I can believe the conditions would be great with all the cold weather they are having. Maybe if you give Elk a better downhill terrain rating it will rival Eagle Rock! What a joke - Eagle Rock #2 in PA... Until there are 10 ratings from someone other than anonymous they should not qualify to get ranked in the state. I have no idea what value there is to a high ranking on this site and I have never been to Eagle Rock, but from what I can tell I am guessing it does not contain PA's 2nd best downhill terrain.- Was this helpful?
