Last week i suffered a moderate injury to my left knee (during a soccer game). I will have to be on cruches for a few weeks but I should be ready to ski in early December, but lacking fitness. It the same knee that i had to have a reconstruction a few years ago after a skiing crash. My knee never returned to full strength even after following the exercises my old physio gave me.

This will halter my pre-season training greatly, after seeing my new physio i have received a list of activities to help strengthen my knees for the future. I thought i would share them with you as it is important to have strong knees for skiing.

1. Single legged hops, very good apparently. Very easy to do anywhere at anytime. Very straight forward, just hope of one leg and land on the same leg.

2.
