So I fired up a web log here on OnTheSnow.com. I figure with as much time that I spend here, I can maybe get some feed back from people about the contributions I make. So, here I am. I also intend on using this blog to keep track of how many days I've skied. Now, all we need is some damn snow! As for me, personally...
..I've been skiing for about 5 years now. I take the sport very seriously as it nowadays runs my life during the winter. During the winter, I stay active outside by backpacking, hiking, camping, and kayaking. I also keep thinking about skiing.

While I'm not the most capable skier around, I do enjoy the sport, and that's what truly matters. To me, a resort and the staff can make or break a day on the slopes. Unfriendly lifties or absurd prices ruin a ski trip much more than icy conditions do. It's all about being in the moment when you ski. Turns are turns, so don't complain about conditions...a real skier will understand that.

Well, I should probably stop typing now because all I'm doing is making myself sad that I can't ski right now...mostly, because I'm at work (ha!) but more so because there's NO SNOW. So...
