Well I have never written a blog before so this may be a short experience. I am currnently facing the dilemna of deciding from which local resort I should buy season tickets in southern MI. We decided since our 6 year old was just starting on skiing we would stick to skiing locally this year. One wouldn't think that this would be such a hard decision. My wife says go with the cheapest but it is also the smallest (though very friendly) place as our son won't really care and it is also the closest. They have a great deal on season tickets if you have never had them there before as well. The other option is twice as much and twice as far but twice as large and twice as nice. At this point I guess simple economics will win out for this year. Next year.

Thanks for the link to the white gold card. That is a fantastic deal if you can travel around. I would definitely go with Bittersweet if you live that close. Good luck.

Here's the link for the white gold card. Works out to quite a deal if you get 2-3 weekends up north.

I hadn't heard any prices for Swiss Valley, but I'm about 1 hour from there, compared with 30-40 minutes from Bittersweet, so that may make it a no brainer for me.

I will probably go with Swiss Valley. The other place was Bittersweet. Swiss Valley isn't as nice as bittersweet but 3 season passes for $319 is a steal. They have a special deal at Swiss Valley for first time season pass holders and our son is just learning so i don't think it will matter. Next year we will probably go with passes to Bittersweet. I have not heard of the MI White Gold Cards? What are they?
