While most of the prime terrain had been tracked out by Boxing Day (Dec. 26), the crud was brilliant and even the flat light couldn't stop locals from getting some Xmas leftovers. "Timing is everything and no doubt yesterday would have been unreal," says Lantzville local Dan Yeats. "But I tell you what I've got no complaints. The skiing is fantastic and this is a great way to spend the day."
