The Hastings, Minn., ski area plays host to ski reps and makers, custom boot fitters, and instructors on those two days and the ski-public is invited to turn out. Along with all the gear and "learn-how-to-turn" seminars, there's an on-hill equipment demo, informal races for local media and kids, and the Summit Ski and Snowboard Rail Jam.
