Idaho's Silver Mountain offers a holiday vacation with both snow and surf. The resort's New Year's Eve celebration also adds a way to cap off the holidays.
The resort is offering a Holiday Special, which includes lodging, skiing, and water play. The packages combines all-day lift tickets for skiing or snowboarding and admission to Silver Rapids, the largest indoor water park in Idaho. Lodging for the package is in a luxury deluxe studio condominium that sleeps four people.
The holiday packages start at $125 per person per night. The holiday package rates designed for two adults and two youths are available Dec. 23 - Jan. 1 with a three-night minimum stay required. The studios include convenience kitchens, a king-sized bed, and a queen-sized sofa bed.
Silver Mountain is open for night skiing New Year's Eve. The lifts run until 9 p.m. The resort also has scheduled a torchlight parade, children's activities, and live music.
The snow tube park will also be open Dec. 31. Three two-hour sessions will be offered starting at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m.
Silver Rapids indoor waterpark operates daily. Hours run 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Noah's Loft also plans to host a party for those age 21 and older. The restaurant is located in Gondola Village.
