Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis has updated its ski area in time for this winter season, with a new state-of-the-art chairlift, two new ski slopes, and 17 feel-good stations.

The brand new Königsleithenbahn is the second connecting lift to Fiss. This modern six-seater chairlift transports skiers up to the 2310-metre-high Mittlerer Sattelkopf. It is equipped with weather domes and heated seats, as well as a children's safety system including automatically closing seat bars.

The construction of the Königsleithebahn chairlift has made the creation of Harbalob Run possible. It is already visible on the map as a ski route, but has been transformed in to a wide ski slope.

Lazid x-dream, a second new ski run, is a 2.5-kilometre black run which winds its way from Restaurant Lassida down to the Laustalbahn.

The 17 new feel-good stations throughout Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis will also be available this winter. Each of the stations has a different design.

A spokesperson from the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Tourist Office said: "Depending on your mood or your urge, you can enjoy ergonomic ecstasy chairs, dreamlike hammocks or snuggly, human-sized beach baskets to curl up in, strategically placed in all the most beautiful spots of the ski area."

The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area encompasses 187 kilometres of pistes and 70 lifts set between 1200-2800 metres.
