Seven Springs in western Pennsylvania just announced a pre-holiday package that can help relieve day-to-day stress and get snow-lovers out for the season early. A family holiday program picks up Dec. 24. The resort started making snow the first weekend in December and has received natural snowfall.
The pre-holiday getaway offers savings and is priced at $119 per couple, per night from Dec. 19 - 23. It includes lodging in the Main Lodge, unlimited skiing from 4 - 7 p.m. the day of arrival until departure day, breakfast buffet, access to the indoor swimming pool and exercise room, plus overnight ski check. Families can join Santa and Mrs. Claus Dec. 19 and 20 for hot chocolate or hot apple cider on old fashion wagon rides. The rides are from 3 - 5 p.m. at $5 per person. They last approximately 15 minutes and reservations are required. The Clauses will greet children in the Center Lobby of the lodge afterwards for photographs.
The Holiday Family Memories Package runs from Dec. 26, 2009 - Jan. 2, 2010. It features two nights' lodging, breakfast, unlimited skiing and tubing. Two kids age 11 and under are free. This package starts at $299 per adult.
Those who book over Christmas can take advantage of several Christmas day dinner options including a traditional holiday buffet menu, carry out dinners for those who prefer to dine in their own accommodations, or Helen's Restaurant, the fine dining establishment that will be serving from 6 - 9 p.m.
