Cataloochee's Hopes Blowing In the Wind

The area boasts a base of eight to 18 inches but with daytime temperatures in the 40s it has been hard to keep it. Area manager Chris Bates says they'll be making snow this week as nighttime temps dip again. They plan to re-open Nov. 17.
