Ski Snowstar expanded their rental building over the summer, which will contain expanded restrooms and a new state-of-the-art tuning shop. On the slopes, they are covering the magic carpet lift since the cover on the tubing hill lift got rave reviews last season. The 70-foot Battle Ship Rail was moved to the north side of Lift Four, which will help facilitate a three-jump-line down Pluto's Plunge. The parking lot was also enlarged.
Snowstar opened in 1981 with one lift and three trails. Since that time over three-quarter-million skiers and riders have visited the area. Today it offers two quads and one double chairlift, three surface tows, 15 named runs, terrain parks and five tubing lanes.
