Winter Park is up and running for its 70th season. The new base village at Winter Park has something for everyone, including lodging, restaurants, and exciting activities. One big activity is the Cowboy Sing-A-Long every Friday afternoon in the village. It's from 4 to 5 p.m. and it's free fun for the whole family.

Willie is the Winter Park mascot, and you can meet Willie on Saturdays in the village, where you'll also get hot cocoa and Winter Park stickers.

The ice skating pond is also in the middle of everything in the village. Free skating lessons are offered every day except Thursday at the Village Rink, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19 to Feb. 28.

Kids can also enjoy a night out at Winter Park for Kids Night Out, which means Mom and Dad are out having fun. It's a free babysitting service for kids ages 4 to 12. Kids have loads of fun with indoor activities, plus dinner, and s'mores by the fire. Parents Night Out is held Thursday nights at the Children's Center in the West Portal Building at Winter Park from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The service is free as long as parents spend $30 per child at any commercial outlet in the Village at Winter Park, during the hours that your children are in the program. You'll need to bring back your receipts. Reserve a spot for your child by calling Winter Park Central Reservations at 800-729-7907. Kids' Night Out will not be held on holidays, including Dec. 24 and 31.
