Cruise The Castle cards are once again on sale at Castle Mountain. Not only do the cards get you discounts on full day lift tickets, but this year a new family card is also available.

Here's how the cards work. You get your first day of skiing or riding free, and then you can purchase discounted full day lift tickets for the rest of the season. Adults can purchase a lift ticket for $13 off, which makes the ticket cost $49 CAD instead of $62. Juniors save $11 and children save $7 on full day tickets. Purchasers also get a 25 percent discount on full day lift tickets at Lake Louise Ski Area.

The non-transferable cards cost $69.95 CAD for adults. Ski or ride twice, and you've paid for the card.

The new family Cruise The Castle card, which costs $199.95 CAD, permits discounts for up to four family members. A minimum of one adult and maximum of two adults is allowed.

Purchase the cards at Castle Mountain or at several Alberta locations. They are available at Alpenland, Boarderline, and Infamous in Lethbridge; Swiss Alpine Restaurant and Heritage Inn in Pincher Creek; Frontside in Okotoks; and Ski Cellar, Mission, and Abominable in Calgary. Cruise the Castle cards are on sale until Dec. 23.

The cards have no blackout dates, so they are valid any day of the season, but may only be used one per day.
