Keystone is gearing up for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Summit County resort will already have been open for almost three weeks when Turkey Day hits. Keystone's tubing hill opens in Adventure Park on top of Mount Dercum Wednesday, Nov. 25, snow permitting.
The Bighorn Steakhouse has an amazing Thanksgiving dinner Thursday. You'll find the restaurant on the third floor of the Lodge at Keystone, at Lakeside Village. Concierge Liz Trench says, "It's the best buffet I've ever been to because there's so much food." She adds that the dessert area is amazing, "especially the Chocolate Fountain." The buffet is $39/adults, $19.95/kids ages 6-12, and free for kids under five. It is open 4-8 p.m. Thanksgiving evening.
The Bighorn Steakhouse offers two-for-one dinners the following night, Nov. 27. Dinner sleigh rides also begin at Keystone Nov. 20.
Keystone and Breckenridge are offering a $79 Sunday Sleepover fare, good throughout the ski and snowboard season. It's a way of helping Colorado skiers and riders extend their weekend and avoid the Sunday night I-70 traffic. There are some blackout dates and a few other restrictions.
Breckenridge is offering a holiday special. The fifth night is free with any four nights of lodging. It is good throughout the holidays this season.
