Looking for a place to celebrate Thanksgiving? Try Bend, Oregon, where Seventh Mountain Resort and Mt. Bachelor have teamed up for a Thanksgiving lodging and lift package. The package, which is available Nov. 24-29, puts together lodging, skiing or riding, and a Thanksgiving buffet.
The Thanksgiving Ski Package, which starts at $655, includes three nights of lodging in a one-bedroom premium condo. More nights may be added on, too, and larger rooms are available at additional cost. Additional nights for extending the stay beyond three nights are available at a $50 discount.
The package also includes two free adult single day lift tickets for Mt. Bachelor Resort. Additional lift tickets can also be added to the package for an additional cost. A free daily shuttle service is available between the resort and Mt. Bachelor, too.
The Thanksgiving celebration adds two adult Thanksgiving buffet vouchers to the package. Breakfasts for each day of the stay are also included.
Seventh Mountain Resort is home to heated pools, hot tubs, a sauna, and fitness center. Lodging includes free access to the amenities.
Cascade Lakes Highway at Mt. Bachelor closed for winter in October, signaling the ski season just around the corner. The resort aims to begin winter operation of its lifts Nov. 20.
