It's been another busy off-season at Ohio's Boston Mills/Brandywine ski area with lots of improvements and a couple of new teaching programs set to greet returning Buckeye snowsports enthusiasts.

Polar Blast Tubing Park's super lanes have been enlarged by three acres and 25 feet vertically.  It significantly steepened the drop-in area.  Get ready for a fast ride.  New landscaping and trees spruced up the outside around the day lodge, and more seating and tables were added on the inside to improve the cafeteria area.

A new BMBW Kids Academy is specifically trained to instruct young skiers and riders from beginner lessons through advanced levels in racing, freestyle, and beyond. The new approach uses positive, skill-based coaching, small group sizes, and mountains of fun to help encourage children to fully enjoy the snowsport experience.  A new Olympians Program is geared to train young 8 to 12-year-old skiers to become future racers.

New midnight sessions will be added on select Saturday nights at Boston Mills extending your skiing and riding time.

They also upgraded the snowmaking system and completed painting all the lifts at Boston Mills over the last couple of years, and brand new chairs should be in place on a couple of the older lifts at Brandywine for this season.

BMBW is located between Cleveland and Akron in northern Ohio's snow belt along the south shore of Lake Erie, which helps insure usually great snow conditions.  It's one of the more popular ski areas in the lower Midwest.
