Ski Roundtop Hosts Equipment, Clothing Consigmnent Sale Nov. 7-8
New and used equipment will be available at Roundtop Nov. 7-8.
The Ski Roundtop Racing Club leads the weekend round of ski and snowboard swaps in Pennsylvania during November. This annual used equipment and clothing consignment sale is held at Ski Roundtop 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7 and 8. Club members organize the event as a fundraiser and there is a 20 percent commission on items sold.
The drop off period for used equipment and clothing is noon to 8 p.m. Nov. 3 - 6, and 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 7. All equipment must be current and indemnified. Clothing must be of recent vintage. Unsold merchandise can be picked up noon to 5 p.m., Nov. 8, and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 9. Any unclaimed clothing and equipment will be given to charity.
The annual Roundtop Mountain Sports pre-season sale takes place at the same time. Equipment and clothing from retail operations at Roundtop, Liberty, and Whitetail are combined into one giant sale. The sales are in the lodge.
Sales are only part of the equation. Entertainment and food are offered to make the weekend more like a festival.There will be a beer garden and seasonal food including barbeque chicken dinners. Misic will be provided by Autumn brew.
