Baggage fees on airlines are adding up higher every day. Vail Resorts is offering a solution. The Free Skis & Boards package lets you leave your gear at home as rentals are free upon arrival. Vail Resorts owns Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, and Breckenridge in Colorado, as well as Heavenly in California.
The package features lift tickets and a free ski and snowboard rental package per person, for up to seven days at the retail locations of Vail Sports, Beaver Creek Sports, Breckenridge Sports, Keystone Sports, and Heavenly Sports (in California). It also includes lodging in a Vail Resorts property or third-party lodging at Heavenly.
The Free Skis & Boards package must be purchased by Dec. 1 and it is not valid Dec. 28-Jan. 4, or over the MLK holiday. It is based on a two-night minimum and other restrictions may apply.
RockResort properties are offering a Three for Free package when you book lodging at a RockResort property at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, or Keystone. You get a free night of lodging, based on a minimum length of stay, dependent of dates of travel. You also get a $50 RockResorts gift card or $50 in on-mountain currency. The final item is a free helmet cam to record your experience on the mountain (one per reservation). Bookings start Nov. 1.
Keystone is scheduled to open Nov. 6; Breckenridge opens Nov. 12; Vail opens Nov. 20; and, Beaver Creek opens Nov. 25.
