Entries have opened for the 22nd edition of the Winter Marathon in Madonna di Campiglio. Vintage cars will descend on the Italian town to take place in the famous event Jan. 21-24, 2010.  

The Winter Marathon has been one of the most important vintage car competitions for 20 years, not only in Italy, but throughout the world. Entries for the Winter Marathon 2010 close Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009.

The marathon is reserved for cars built before 1968, both front and rear wheel drive. The entrance fee is €130 including hotel accommodation for two crew members arriving Friday Jan. 22 or €1600 for arrival Thursday, Jan. 21. Additional crew fees cost from €600-€725.

Participants must fill out the online form on the official Web site and send it to the Organising Committee, accompanied by the car details and entrance fee. You can also choose to add additional passengers to the two crew members.

The well known Italian resort of Madonna di Campiglio is famous for its state-of-the-art lift network. An advanced remote reading system for ski passes also allows the elimination of queues at the lifts. The extension and variety of runs make up 110 kilometres of linked slopes.
