For the 32nd Foulée Blanche at Autrans, the ski area welcomes athletes and spectators with a deal on lodging.
From Jan. 20 to 24, 2010, la Foulée Blanche is the legendary cross-country skiing race that takes place each year on the Vercors plateau. With the Youth Foulée Jan. 20, Children's Foulée Jan. 21, a classic-style race Jan. 23, and the Foulée Blanche race Jan. 24, there will be enough activites to satisfy any cross-country enthusiast.
Several hotels in Autrans are offering a weekend on a half-board basis (three days/two nights based on double occupancy) for €118 per person. New arrivals will be greeted Friday night with a VIP welcome and free aperitif to toast the skiers before their big day.
If a single weekend doesn't suffice to encourage skiers and explore Autran's terrain, why not stay an entire week? For a week's reservation in a hotel, the seventh night is on the house!
Of course the public can attend the races, ring their cow bells, and applaude the champions, but this year's organisers wanted the public to really live the races as closely as possible to the skiers. So they re-drew the track so that a veritable river of skiers will flow through the villages of Autrans for a thrilling sight spectators won't forget.
