It's time for Wyoming skiers and riders to buy their season passes for this winter. Several ski areas have sales that wind up at the end of October while others continue preseason rates until December.

Four Wyoming ski areas wrap up their season pass sales Oct. 31. Those looking to purchase season passes at reduced sale prices for Grand Targhee Resort, Snow King Mountain, Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area or Sleeping Giant need to hustle in the coming days or pay higher rates.

Grand Targhee's adult unlimited season pass costs $799. After the sale, the price goes up by $100. Teen, junior, child, senior, college, family and weekday passes are available at sale rates.

Snow King offers a one-rate-for-all deal. The season pass costs $149 on sale. All sale pass purchasers get entered into a raffle to own a double chair from the old Snow King Summit Lift.

Snowy Range adult passes costs $219 on sale. The rate increases by $30 after the sale. Other rates are available for students, military, teens and youth. The resort also introduced a new Ranger Pass that costs $49 more. It includes access to early turns on two days during the season as well as other perks and discounts.

White Pine runs its pass sale until Dec. 15. An adult pass costs $239, but if five or more are purchased together, you can get them for $199 each. Sale pass rates are available for youth and seniors, too.

Season passes are still available for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at regular prices. The Grand Pass costs $1,595 for adults. Seniors, juniors and students have other rates.
