Blue Mountain in Pennsylvania stages its tent sale Nov. 21 - 22. New and used equipment is available for purchase. The tent will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Summit Lodge Courtyard.
Seasonal rentals, product leased for the season generally by one person, will be for sale at discounted prices. New equipment carried over from last season also will be discounted, according to tuning and retail manager Pete Scheetze. Seasonal rental brands being featured are Head skis and Tyrolia bindings and Salomon products. Elan skis and Dalbello boots also are in the mix.
New equipment brands include Flow snowboards and bindings, Arbor and Palmer snowboards, and Scott and Leki poles. "There quite a range of product," said Scheetze, "but there will be some odd sizes."
Waiting until the tent sale will be too late for purchasing season passes at a discount, however. The 25 percent discount ends Nov. 16. Adult any day passes are $619 and student any day passes are $469. Students must be 22 years old or younger and have a valid ID. Midweek adult passes are $469 and student midweek passes are $309. Blackout dates for midweek passes are Dec. 28 - Jan. 1, 2010; Jan. 18 and Feb. 15 - 19.
Blue Mountain already has received its first snowfalll of the season.
