Les 2 Alpes is celebrating its first snowfall of the season with a deal on passes and accommodation for four guests. As soon as the temperature drops and the flakes begin to fall, the Alpine station will be opening its 225 kilometres of pistes to the joy of skiers impatient to leave their first tracks on the slopes of les 2 Alpes.
For the opening, the resort is offering package stays including a six-day ski pass with seven nights' accommodation in an apartment. Clients can choose to arrive Nov. 28, Dec. 5 or 12, 2009 then hit the Les 2 Alpes pistes for six days. Two of these days can be spent on the slopes of Alpe d'Huez if skiers wish to sample another of the Isère department's biggest ski resorts. Access to the swimming pool and ice skating rink is also included in the deal (excluding skate hire). This stay starts at €243.90 per person.
With 104 groomed pistes over 430 hectares, skiers will have all they need at les 2 Alpes. Slopes are ideal for all levels, with 27 green runs, 45 blue, 18 red, and 14 black. Les 2 Alpes is not, however, just piste skiing; it's also home to one of Europe's best snowparks. Boarders will just have to choose where to start with the 120 metre half-pipe, three park bullies, monster hip, or the many other ramps for their fill of thrills.
